When you need a service call, you must contact the retailer from whom you purchased the furniture. They will determine, in collaboration with Meubles Via, the arrangements to be made.
COMFORT AND STYLE
It is completely normal to notice a difference in comfort when receiving your furniture, it seems firmer and more stuffed. We use high-density foam, the highest density foam available on the market, in order to offer you very long years of use, an adaptation period of several weeks is necessary so that this foam loses some of its resilience to allow you to achieve your desired comfort. Thereafter, your furniture will retain this advantage for your well-being.
MODULAR
Your modular unit is made up of different sections, some reclining, others fixed. When a fixed section is placed next to an electric reclining section:
• The back of the reclining section has a horizontal opening to allow movement of the recliner.
• The back of the fixed section will be in one piece without horizontal opening.
• Since the headrest is manual on the fixed section, there could be a slight offset in alignment with the electric one.
LEATHER OR FABRIC
All our furniture is available in leather or fabric. The comfort remains the same in both types of upholstery, the materials used are identical, however, the overall look of your furniture will be slightly different. Your leather furniture is composed of several pieces of leather assembled together with braided seams that add to the style. In fabric, all these double seams are eliminated; the weave of the fabrics does not allow for a straight and uniform double seam.
COMPONENT ALIGNMENT
Unlike fixed furniture, your reclining furniture has several moving parts: footrest, seat, back, and headrest. These will tend to shift slightly with use. You may notice uneven alignment. It's possible to reposition everything by gently pulling or pushing on the affected parts to regain alignment.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
The first charge of your rechargeable battery should be maximum, i.e., a period between 12 and 18 hours. Afterwards, a charge of 6 to 8 hours will suffice. It should be noted that rechargeable batteries lose their efficiency over the years. Even without using your furniture, the battery will lose its charge. It is recommended to unplug it if you do not plan to use it for a longer or shorter period. The duration of a battery charge will vary greatly depending on use, the presence of a USB port, and various other factors.
By using a single battery for models with electric seats and heads, it will also discharge much faster.
The battery has a switch at one end, in the ``on`` position it will warn you when the battery needs to be charged, to eliminate the beep, you must put the switch in the ``off`` position.
PLEATS
From the first use, it is completely normal to find creases on the seats and backs of our furniture. The stretching of the leather is one of the characteristics of a high-end leather, as is a variation in grain or slight natural marks on the hide. On the parts of the furniture that are used the most, that is, subject to greater pressure, the leather will stretch and create creases. This phenomenon is normal. It is easy to smooth out these creases with a simple hand movement on the backs and seats.
The fabric does not react like leather; it will adapt to the foam, adapting to the curves and unevenness. On the parts of the furniture that are subject to the most stress, i.e. those with greater pressure, the foam will lose some of its resilience and the fabric will adapt to the foam.
